See the Choices of the Judge! Several artists prepared for Spring Into Art by taking art classes at the Howard Steamboat Museum. Adults, teens and children from any county within 54 miles of the Howard Steamboat Museum will be eligible:
A maximum of 2 entries per artist may be be juried. An entry can be open-themed and 2D or 3D. An entry must be one-of-a-kind and have been completed within the last two years. An entry must not have been exhibited before in a juried show. Sorry, this exhibit will not include photography. Fees: Nominal exhibit fee per accepted art work. Adults: $20, teens, $10, Children $5. Exhibit fees due when accepted works dropped off. Calendar Spring Into Art Show Free! Open Now through April 15 during museum hours: Tues-Sat 1-4, Sun 1-4 Senior Day Thursday, April 7, 10:30-12 Free! "Coffee, Cookies, Conversation" View Spring Into Art Show in Carriage House plus free visit to 1st floor Howard Museum. Access ramp for both Carriage House & Museum Artist Pick-up: Friday, April 15, 3 - 6 & Sunday, April 17 1-4 Museum closed due to Thunder on Saturday, April 16 How to Enter Two entries may be submitted Feb 1-12. Enter forms & photos online at this site or print out and fill in forms displayed on this site and mail them along with photos by Feb 12. Preparation of jury-selected work for drop-off All 2D work must either be framed or be a gallery canvas with finished edges and be ready to be hung. Exception: teen or children's work on art paper may be may be framed, matted or mounted for finished look. Questions?
